LFRT (long fiber reinforced compounding material) has excellent rigidity stiffness and impact resistance. It can be used to replace the metal material of the industrial parts and efficiently lightening the weight. The surface of the product will have nice gloss and smooth. The abrasion resistance and size’s stability are better than other compounding.
The length of LFRT pellets is 6mm to 12mm. LFRT can be applied to the case of electrical instrument, car parts, machinery parts, exercise gear, and IT industries. It also has the ability to block the EMI.



The characteristics of the long fiber composite materials as follow.
The length and the diameter ratio of LFRT are better than SFT. For the reason would exceed short-reinforced fiber material in the improvement of various properties.
Compared with metal materials, long fiber composite materials could produce with general plastic injection molding equipment that the advantages of high capacity and low cost. In addition, it has excellent rust resistance, acid and alkali-resistance and lightweight which are used for car, motorcycle, bicycle, sports equipment, Industrial, construction and sanitary equipment.

PA66+40%GF Properties Comparison
LFRT has some advantages in the development technology of processing and applications as follow.
1.The molding of LFRT is same as SFT(short-reinforced fiber material) but t the long fiber can stand the long-size in the 3-Dimension of the thermoplastic resins that could highly and obviously increase the mechanical property of the product.
2.The specific strength of aluminum is9.8% but the specific strength of LFRT is 17.2%. LFRT has the low shrinkage, excellent creep resistance, anti-fatigue and the stability of size that is beneficial in a mechanical, automotive parts and structural parts in design and application.
3.The design of LFRT is freer than GMT and CFRT. GMT could only be compression molding but LFRT mold into the complex form easily.
4. LFRT could be recycled and reused that meets the environmental requirements in the high thermoplastic composite materials.

Remark:
Due to the special 3-dimensional structure of long fiber, rigidity increasing and the properties only decrease 25% after moisture absorption. (30%LGF as an example)
P.S
1.It tend to give 100% property of long fiber in the above conditions. If the long fiber materials form in short fiber injection machine, the property would be strill better than the short fiber materials.

Injection Molding
1. Feed zone is 60% and Compress and metering zone is 20% overall length.
2. L/D is between18 to 22, feed port should be over 3mm and compression ratio should be between 2 to 2.5.
3. The heat of the plastic should be higher than the melt point before compressing.
4. The bucket of feed port should be at least 45° and the best angle is 60°.
5. The inlet gate of injection mold should use the design of sprue gate.
6. The mold material should be hardened with Cr by tool steel to HRC55~65.

1. Auto Industry→ Frame in the engine bay, Seat frame, Dashboard frame, Frame of Battery base, Door panel, Pedals, Fender
apron, Frame of spare tire.
2. Electrical and Electronic Industry→ High precision plug-in/element, Structure parts of the printer, Frame of the 3C products,
